I was invited to speak at the UMatter One Thing I Wish You Knew event as a Motivational Speaker. Hundreds gathered for this annual event that saw 5 different speakers. My allotted time was 10 minutes to share what I've learned since losing my leg and nearly dying.

Stories I've Shared
I met car accident victim while reporting at WSBT 22, who needed his left leg amputated. He survived on rainwater when he was trapped in his wrecked truck for 6 days. After messages back-and-forth, we did an exclusive first sit down interview.

This is a throwback! I was awarded the George Blaha Leadership and Courage Award at the Detroit Athletic Club Athlete of the Year ceremony. George is the longtime voice of the Detroit Pistons and beloved by the Detroit Community!
